I was raised on whole Jersey milk. Strained through a tea towel with that unmistakable Jersey milk slight yellow tinge. Thick layer of cream resting on top in a one quart Ball jars setting on the refrigerators top shelf. Mom would take off the upper layer of cream to churn butter. I drank raw milk and ate beef raised and processed on the farm. Heck I had so many cattle hormones in my system that by the time I reached puberty my upper lip would curl up when I saw a pretty girl. The government needs to stay out of independent farmers lives.

Bring back more small farms. Artisan small businesses. And I mean beef, chickens, pork, veggies, dairy, orchards etc. Big food industries is all about money, not quality. Our nation can and should be self-sufficient.
